Questions & answers


Question: Do I have to be able to run?
Answer: No, it is not a running class.  There will be a bit of running but not much more than 30 metres at a time and it is OK to walk fast.

Question: Do I have to be fit?
Answer: No, this class is for all abilities. 

Question: Do I need to bring anything?
Answer: It would be useful to bring a yoga mat.  Be prepared to share it.  Also, bring some water.

Question: And what about valuables?
Answer: Please leave all valuables at home.

Question: What should I wear?
Answer:  Wear comfortable sports clothes and supportive shoes.  Keep an eye on the weather forecast, if it looks like rain wear something to keep you dry and gloves are useful on colder days and also for exercises where you have your hands on the ground.  On colder days have a warm layer to put on before and after the session. 

Question: What if the weather is bad?
Answer: It is an outdoors class so we continue anyway.  Only in severe weather will the class be cancelled.

Question: Where is the class?
Answer: The class in is in the Vondel Park.  We will meet at the children’s play area just beside Kattenlaan.  If the area is being used then we will have to move once we have met up.

Question: How much does the class cost?
Answer: See the prices page.  When you register I will send you my bank details to do a bank transfer.

Question: Does the Boot Camp have a military theme?
Answer: No, I much prefer to encourage and motivate you in a fun way than shout and intimidate.

Question:  Who is the trainer?
Answer: The trainer is Lorna Wilson.  You can find out more information here.

Question: I am a bit nervous to come on my own, how can you help?
Answer: Let me know and I will endeavour to team you up with someone who has done the class before so you don’t feel left out.
