Ski Fit (also for Snowboarders)
After the first day of a fun filled day of skiing are you left with aching muscles and by the second day you are already feeling the strain? Does this sound familiar? Why not give Ski Fit a go.
Ski fit is for people who are going to be skiing over the winter who want to get a head start with their fitness and skiing ability before hitting the slopes. Ski Fit can also help reduce the chance of injury.
The aim of each Ski Fit session is to improve strength, co-ordination, balance and flexibility and to additionally help recreational skiers ascend a plateau to reach the next level. You will reap the benefits of these sessions, when you ski you will feel stronger and additionally your ability to improve your technique will be enhanced.
Ski Fit sessions mainly concentrate on strengthening the main muscles used while skiing – the core, legs and upper body.
Sessions are conducted in your own home on your own or with a friend or partner for 45 or 60 minutes. Training for small groups is also possible.
